Le Météore Blanc 2025 is an expressive white wine that perfectly reflects the special character of Domaine du Météore. The estate is located in Cabrerolles, at the foot of the Haut-Languedoc, around an impressive meteorite crater that helps shape the landscape - and the identity of the wines. The combination of mountain air from the north and warm Mediterranean influences from the south creates a rare balance between freshness and ripeness.
The wine is a blend of Rolle, Grenache Blanc and Clairette, grapes that thrive on the estate's schist soils. This shale-rich, rocky soil forces the roots to grow deep, resulting in low yields and a pronounced minerality. Destemming and direct pressing preserve the purity of the fruit, followed by fermentation and ageing entirely in stainless steel to preserve freshness and precision.
In the glass, Le Météore Blanc shows clear and light lemon yellow. The nose opens with aromas of almond blossom, Mediterranean herbs and subtle spices. On the palate, it is dynamic and round, with lively acidity and a slightly salty, mineral finish that underlines its unique terroir. An elegant, balanced wine that goes extremely well with seafood, grilled fish and Mediterranean dishes.
