Product description
Zanotelli's Manzoni Bianco is an elegant white wine from the high altitude vineyards of the Val di Cembra, where the cool climate and steep slopes ensure optimal ripening of the grapes. This wine is made from 100% Manzoni Bianco, a cross between Riesling Renano and Pinot Bianco, developed in the 1930s by Professor Luigi Manzoni. The grape is known for its good acidity and aromatic finesse, which is perfectly reflected in this cuvée.
In the glass, the wine presents itself with a straw yellow colour and a subtle sheen. The aroma is pleasant and slightly aromatic, with fresh notes hinting at white flowers, citrus and green apple. The palate is dry, fresh and mineral, with a refined structure and a juicy finish that invites the next sip. Thanks to controlled low-temperature fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the purity of the fruit is fully preserved.
The Manzoni Bianco is an excellent companion to creamy starters such as risotto or light vegetable soups, and also lends itself perfectly as a fresh wine outside meals. It pairs wonderfully with fish dishes with white sauces and soft, fresh cheeses. Serve this wine preferably chilled, between 10 and 12 °C, to fully unleash its delicate aromas.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
