This Müller Thurgau from Alfio Nicolodi comes from vineyards in the municipalities of Cembra and Segonzano, at an altitude of 550-750 metres. Plantings range from Pergola Trentina to Guyot with high planting density, on light porphyry soils. The vines, planted in 1993 and 2002, produce grapes with a yield of 110 q.li/ha. Harvesting is done manually in small crates, followed by gentle pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation (14-16 °C).
After vinification, the wine matures for six months on stainless steel, followed by two months of bottle aging. The result is a bright straw-yellow glass of wine with green reflections, an aroma of apple and banana, and a fresh, juicy palate with light minerality and pleasant acidity. The wine is elegant, fruity and balanced - an expressive Müller Thurgau that reflects the altitude and soil of Cembra.
Thanks to its lively style and aromatic profile, this wine is excellent with light dishes such as grilled vegetables, salads with citrus, Asian spring rolls or poached fish. Serve around 10-12 °C for the best experience.
