Corvée's Quaràs Chardonnay is an elegant and structured white wine from the heart of the Cembra Valley in Trentino, from the vineyard of the same name located at an altitude of 520 metres at the foot of Monte Avvoltoio. This special place, named after the French captain Quaràs, is characterised by deep, clayey soils and gentle mountain and valley winds that create a unique microclimate. The large temperature differences between day and night create a Chardonnay with a distinctly alpine character.
In the glass, this wine presents itself with aromas of ripe yellow fruits such as pineapple, orange peel and a subtle touch of caramel, toffee and hazelnut. The fresh acidity and maturation on fine lies in French oak barrels give the wine structure, elegance and depth. The result is a complex and refined white wine that masterfully translates the power of its terroir into the glass.
The Quaràs Chardonnay is particularly suitable as an accompaniment to refined dishes such as grilled sea bass, scallops, poultry in creamy sauces or risotto with mushrooms. It is also excellent with semi-mature cheeses and dishes with nuts or roasted vegetables. Serve it lightly chilled to let its rich and mineral character fully express itself.
