Corvée's Pinot Bianco Cór is a wine with heart and soul, from one of the most characterful vineyards in the Val di Cembra. This vineyard, named 'Cór' - meaning 'heart' - is located on a sunny slope of Monte Pincaldo and is protected from the cold north wind. Its 500-metre altitude and deep, porous porphyry soil produce a Pinot Bianco with distinct character and complexity.
The climate in the Cór vineyard, with warm days and cool nights, enhances the wine's aromatic profile. In the glass, this white wine presents itself with aromas of white peach, pear and apple, intertwined with floral notes of rose, viburnum and jasmine. On the palate, a layered flavour experience unfolds with spicy accents of nutmeg, cocoa and a hint of coffee - a powerful yet elegant profile that captures the essence of a mountain Pinot Bianco.
The grapes are harvested by hand in the second half of September. After gentle pressing, the juice undergoes static settling and temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel. The wine then ages for eight months on fine lie in French oak tonnaux of second and third passage, and then rests in bottle for a further six months. The Pinot Bianco Cór is a true expression of terroir, craftsmanship and dedication - a wine that brings to life the soul of Val di Cembra.
