'Cotidie Bianco' IGP Calabria is anything but an everyday wine, even though its name - Latin for 'everyday' - might suggest so. This white cuvée is made from a carefully crafted blend of indigenous grape varieties such as Pecorello, Greco Bianco, Malvasia and Trebbiano, sourced from three different vineyards that each bring their own geographical location and soil composition. This diversity forms the basis for a wine with layering and character.
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, with a small proportion raised in wood. The result is a straw yellow wine with golden reflections and a particularly seductive aromatic profile. On the nose, it opens complex and intense, with aromas of ripe yellow fruit, tropical fruit and white blossom, delicately complemented by fresh mineral notes and hints of Mediterranean spices. This fragrant richness is also beautifully expressed on the palette.
'Cotidie Bianco' is juicy and fresh, but at the same time silky and elegant on the palate. The structure is nicely balanced and the finish is long, with a refined, fruity and mineral aftertaste that lingers for a while. Only 4,000 to 5,000 bottles of this wine are made annually, making it a true discovery for lovers of characterful and original white wines from the deep south of Italy.
