'Frasnita Bianco' IGP Calabria 2022 is a rare white wine that fuses the refinement of Riesling Italico with the strength of Calabria. Only 600 to 1,200 bottles of it are produced annually, making this wine an exclusive find for lovers of characterful and authentic wines. Fermentation and ageing take place mainly in stainless steel tanks, although wood is sometimes used, depending on the vintage and desired profile.
In the glass, Frasnita Bianco shines with a straw yellow colour and golden hues. The nose is strikingly original and complex, with aromas of apricot and yellow plum, wild flowers and green herbal notes reminiscent of freshly picked field herbs. This aromatic richness continues nicely on the palate, where the wine shows itself to be at once fresh and glycerous, with a full texture and lively tension.
The taste is in harmony with the aroma: pure, clean and surprising. The finish is long and layered, with lingering freshness and aromatic intensity. 'Frasnita Bianco' is not an everyday wine, but an ode to finesse, terroir and the unexpected - a wine that remains intriguing until the last sip.
