'Neostòs Bianco' IGP Calabria Bianco is a wine that tells stories - an ode to the Calabrian land and its ancient grape heritage. Made from 100% Pecorello, from two different vineyards - one in the hills, the other closer to the sea - this wine reflects both altitude and horizon, both power and elegance. Vinification and ageing takes place partly in stainless steel and partly in wood, ensuring balance between freshness, structure and ripe layering.
In the glass, Neostòs Bianco shines with a deep golden yellow colour and shimmering reflections, already foreshadowing its rich character. The nose is broad and nuanced, with aromas of lychee, passion fruit, apricot, peach, pineapple, citrus, Mediterranean spices, acacia blossom and small white flowers, depending on the vintage. As the wine ripens, notes of honey, beeswax and ripe medlar are added. Everything forms into an elegant mosaic of aroma and texture, harmonious and seductive, with a creamy intensity that slowly blossoms into sweetness.
On the palate, this wine is a real treat: full and juicy, with tension and freshness at the same time thanks to a fine acidity line that livens up the rich whole. The finish is long, mineral and slightly salty, a tangible echo of the Calabrian terroir. 'Neostòs Bianco' is not a wine to drink fleetingly, but one that invites careful tasting - and reveals itself a little more with each glass. A wine with soul, that evokes and creates memories.
