Product description
Château de Durette's 'Les Fournelles' Côte de Brouilly is an authentic Beaujolais cru that captures the imagination. This wine comes from a one-hectare plot with 45-year-old Gamay vines, located in the heart of the prestigious terroir Les Fournelles. The soils, formed by volcanic rock, give the wine its characteristic freshness and refinement. Thanks to manual harvesting and careful vinification, in which 80% of the grapes are destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks, they manage to best preserve the pure fruit and vibrancy of the Gamay.
In the glass, this Côte de Brouilly shows with a bright ruby colour. The nose is seductive and opens with fresh aromas of raspberry and wild strawberry, subtly supported by floral notes of rose and violet. On the palate, the wine is juicy and elegant, with silky tannins providing a harmonious structure. The fresh and delicate fruit notes come out beautifully in the smooth and drinkable finish.
This wine pairs excellently with a country lunch or cold dishes, but also surprisingly well with Asian cuisine. A true ode to the terroir of Côte de Brouilly, made with respect for nature and tradition thanks to the use of sustainable farming practices and HVE3 certification.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
