Product description
The Beaujolais Villages Blanc from Château de Durette, also known as the "pearl of the Beaujolais", is a refined white wine made from 100% Chardonnay grapes. Sourced from a 1.9-hectare plot in organic cultivation, resting on calcareous and clay-rich soils, this wine offers an outstanding example of the freshness and elegance for which the region is renowned. The vines, about 10 years old, produce a modest yield of 50 hectolitres per hectare, which contributes to the wine's concentration and finesse.
After pellicular maceration before pressing, the wine is vinified and raised on stainless steel tanks to preserve its pure fruit expression and lively acidity. In the glass, a delicate aroma of fresh fruit and white blossom unfolds, with a nice balance between roundness and freshness. The Beaujolais Villages Blanc combines structure with nimbleness, remaining pleasantly drinkable.
This wine is ideally suited as an aperitif, but also goes beautifully with fish dishes with sauce. Serve chilled between 9 and 10 °C for an optimal taste experience. With a limited production of only 8000 bottles, this wine is a true discovery for lovers of refined, organic white wines from the heart of the Beaujolais.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
