Product description
This elegant mountain wine is a harmonious blend of Müller Thurgau (60%) and Riesling (40%), from carefully selected vineyards in the Cembra Valley at altitudes between 550 and 780 metres. The southeast-facing slopes and unique porphyry and limestone subsoil give the wine its distinct character. The grapes are traditionally grown in pergola and guyot systems and harvested individually to create an exceptional cuvée that encapsulates the soul of the valley.
After gentle pressing at controlled temperature, the wine undergoes refined ageing on stainless steel. In the glass, the wine shows a straw yellow colour. On the nose, it is delicate and intense, with floral notes, ripe tropical fruit and peach. The palate is dry, mineral and lively with pleasant acidity and a lingering finish - perfectly typical of high-altitude mountain wines.
This wine is ideal with finely textured dishes such as grilled trout, fresh sushi, asparagus or a salad with goat cheese. It also comes into its own beautifully as an aperitif or with light Asian dishes. A true ambassador of the Cembra Valley and its 708 kilometres of historic stone walls.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
