Zanotelli's Gewürztraminer is undoubtedly the most aromatic wine in their range. This expressive white wine is produced from 100% Gewürztraminer grapes, grown in the high-altitude vineyards of Saosènt and Valvalè in the Val di Cembra. Thanks to its location between 550 and 700 metres above sea level, the grapes benefit from fresh mountain air and large temperature differences between day and night, contributing to the wine's intense aroma and refined structure.
In the glass, the wine shows a pale yellow colour with a golden glow that tends to straw yellow with ageing. On the nose, the fragrant bouquet stands out with pronounced notes of rose petals, spices like clove and cinnamon, and exotic fruits like lychee and mango. The palate is full and structured, with a gentle hint of almond on the finish. Combining power with elegance, this wine manages to balance its aromatic character with freshness and a refined finish.
An excellent choice as an aromatic aperitif, Zanotelli's Gewürztraminer is also a harmonious match with rich dishes. Think sophisticated fish dishes, seafood, or spicy Asian cuisine such as Thai curries or Vietnamese spring rolls. This wine also goes beautifully with semi-mature cheeses or slightly spicy vegetarian dishes. Serve it chilled between 10 and 12 °C to fully unleash its aromatic character.
