Puro PétNat by Fattoria Lavacchio is a natural rosato frizzante, made without added sulphites. This fresh and lively wine is produced from Sangiovese and Syrah, sourced from vineyards in Rufina at around 400 metres altitude, where the clay- and marl-rich soils provide grapes with aromatic intensity and elegance. With a production of around 6,000 bottles, this is a rare and artisanal sparkling wine, ideal for sunny moments.
The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully selected in early September. After gentle pressing and cold settling, the must ferments at low temperature in stainless steel tanks. At bottling, fresh grape juice, rich in yeasts and sugars, is added, allowing the second fermentation to take place naturally in the bottle. No filtration takes place, leaving a light yeast residue that adds to the character and complexity. The result is a slightly cloudy, sparkling rosé with a bright colour and lively character.
In the glass, Puro PétNat shows soft pink and effervescent. The nose opens with fresh citrus aromas and notes of red berries. On the palate, it is juicy and invigorating, with flavours of strawberry and raspberry, complemented by a spicy touch and refreshing acidity. This wine is the perfect companion to summer aperitifs, seafood, light pizza and spicy dishes. Serve chilled at 6-8 °C for the most expressive experience.
