Ciliegiolo Rosato is a versatile interpretation of Narni’s signature grape, the Ciliegiolo. This wine proves that this traditional grape is exceptionally well-suited to rosé vinification, resulting in a delicate, flavourful and elegantly drinkable wine.
Cultivation on Narni’s marine soils, careful harvesting, spontaneous fermentation and brief contact with the skins result in a wine that is delicate on the palate, juicy in structure, fresh and harmonious. This is no ordinary rosé, but a well-considered interpretation of a classic grape variety in a new form. In the glass, Ciliegiolo Rosato displays a delicate pink colour reminiscent of peach blossoms. The nose is enticingly fresh, with aromas of pink fruit and peach. On the palate, the wine is refreshing and lively, with a crisp aftertaste and a floral finish.
This is the perfect wine for many occasions: brilliant as an aperitif, but equally good with starters, light pasta dishes, white meat, fish and grilled dishes. Served a few degrees colder, it reveals its full gourmet character.
