The Orange Fox by Miali is an expressive orange wine made from the indigenous grape Verdeca, with a unique style that combines tradition and boldness. This wine immediately stands out for its bright copper colour, a result of 8-10 days of skin maceration. On the nose, it shows lively aromas of citrus and Mediterranean spices, while the palate is characterised by freshness, clear acidity, fine minerality and a long, lingering finish.
The grapes are harvested by hand in the first days of October. Fermentation takes place with a pied-de-cuve of wild yeasts, followed by gentle pressing and maturation in stone barrels. After fermentation, the wine rests in bottle for another 4-5 months, developing even more depth and structure.
The Orange Fox is a wine that invites experimentation and is versatile at the table. It pairs perfectly with fish dishes, seafood, tartare and even pizza. The serving temperature is around 10°C, which best highlights its fresh character.
